Still good. I'll be back next week.
I think that actually, Sarah and John would have been a lot more lost by the way the world changed than they seemed, but it would have got in the way of the story. And I can handwave it, given the way they live.
I really liked that characters from the first episode turned up again, too. And the cancer, from T3, which I'm not sure I've actually seen. And there were some nice moments -- especially with Cameron outside Carlos' house, and the way she mimicked the other woman. I like the balance of knowledge and ignorance, in her and in Sarah -- that Cameron, for all her knowledge, is as much at a loss as Sarah sometimes is.
Someday, Cameron will kill someone who really is innocent.
Also: Lawrence, Kansas? Was that absolutely necessary?
I was a little worried, of course, when John took off on his own, there, but it worked out differently than I expected, and I liked it. It was still impulsive, but it was understandable.
The thing about the franchise is that I find the terminators really scary, because they're so hard to destroy -- the scenes of the terminator reassembling itself really freaked me out. So I find myself caught up in the tension of the whole thing, too.
I'm sure I have other things, but I need to sleep now more than I need to figure out what they were. At some point, I'm also going to want icons.
