The Tyranny of Socks

I may have mentioned that we have a lot of blackberries (also a lot of apples) this year. Anyway, although it's hard to get tired of blackberry pie, blackberry and apple pie, apple pie, apple cake, blackberry crumble and blackberry-and-apple crumble, I did want something different the other day, so I made this instead. I'm writing it here because I invented this recipe! Sort of. Really, it's a mixture of this recipe (blackberry cheesecake) and this one (rhubarb cheesecake). But I'm still pleased that it worked.
