This icon basically encapsulates my life these days, aside from the bit about the novel. But hey, a book's a book.

Actually, you could substitute "lecture," as well.

Is there any reason I shouldn't use Google Docs to work on my fanfic here and there, at work, in those moments of free time I occasionally have? I have the probably mistaken idea that it might make me more productive.

It might be an idea. If you try it, I'd be interested to learn how it works out.

I have odds and ends jotted down in locked LJ entries, plus Word and text files on my laptop and my desktop, and a USB key drive (nothing on the work computer, that goes directly to the USB drive). Oh, and handwritten scraps of paper as well.

No matter where I am, the fragment I'm most interested in is probably somewhere else.
