It's official! Jericho will come back as a mid-season replacement on CBS!!!!! Yay!!!!

They're showing season one again over the summer, and putting episodes up on line, as well, and the DVD will come out September 25th. Prepare to be pimped! The first half of the season is tough going, I admit, but the second half really pulls together, and the final few episodes are some of the best stuff I saw last year on TV.

Yay!

I've never seen Jericho, but yay for you guys! If I'm not moving cross-country this summer, I'll try and catch up.

I'm going to pimp too. This is like a miracle - I almost can't believe it.

Hee, that was the message I was sending!

We watched an ep or two, then gave up. I may try to convince Hubby to try it again this summer, as long as it doesn't conflict with So You Think You Can Dance. Priorities! ;-D

Saw that earlier and immediately thought of you :)
Besides, I'm quite glad too, I wanted to give it another chance...and maybe DB Sweeney may guest star again!

I was hooked on Jericho long before I saw the first episode. Apocalypse stories strike a chord (end-of-western-lifestyle stories being one subset), and it is so rare to see a network produce this kind of work. "Warday" by Streiber and Kunetka is one of my 'missionary' books, the ones you buy over and over again just to give away to others. Jericho seemed like a cross between Warday and PBS American Playhouse's "Testament" at first - an awesome combination.

It sort of veered off in the direction of One Life to Live after that, but, like Vaznetti says, it really started to come together as Hawkins' story was exposed and the neighboring town war arc came to fruition.
