I have a draft of my Yuletide story. A complete draft, which is longer than the minimum, even. I feel ridiculously proud of myself for this rather meager accomplishment.

I'm also very much hoping that I've written myself past the oh damn, this story is complete dreck moment.

The key to the story hit me in the early afternoon today, and then things kind of fell into place. It's not great, but it's done, at least in draft.
