Fifth test, day five. I keep thinking, "You know, England are perfectly capable of losing this match today. By lunch, even." Goddamn nail-biter Ashes series! But I figure, pessimism is never out of place when you're hoping for an England victory, even when England are clearly the better team, aside from Shane Warne, god among spin-bowlers.

ETA: GODDAMNIT ENGLAND! What is this "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" thing?

127-5.

It all looked so promising at 11am. :-(

*checks out of the window, scowls at all that blue sky and sunshine* Alas, I don't think that bad light is going to help us at all today.

22, someone said a few minutes ago, I believe. There are people conga-ing in the crowd, and it sounds like a rugby match with all the singing. I think the crowd have decided what the result is already.
