Does anyone else worry that all the people who have you friended have long ago filtered you off their reading list, because your posts were dull and repetitive? Just me, then.

But for those of you who do still read this journal, especially those of you weren't reading it last summer, I'm about to head to Oxford until mid-August. Internet access there may be sporadic; I can usually get about an hour a day most weekdays, but anything beyond that will depend on the library situation. In other words, I'm likely to be behind on my friends list from now until August. Have fun, and if you need to get my attention, leave a note here.

But your posts *aren't* dull and repetitive! So, I don't think you have anything to worry about ;)

Have lots of summer fun . . .

Pretty much, yes. Yay, paranoia!

Wishing you safe travel and a good summer.

See I just KNOW this is the case. Why worry?

I don't exist on the internet to entertain people. I'm mostly here to talk to my friends about their lives. I guess maybe you have to, you know, EVER write interesting posts about fan stuff or tv shows or books to get people who are reading you because you're interesting. Seeing I never do that, I have no pressure.

You should all join me in my slothful ways!

Thank you. The same is true of you, you know.

I think I never told you how interesting I found the post on Cylon religion, although I will be very surprised if BSG actually takes any kind of accurate view of Classical religion.

Heh! I am paranoid about some things but not about that; and you aren't remotely boring, so don't worry :)

Have a wonderful summer in Oxford (I picture you punting and being rowed places by boys in boaters - but that's because I have too much "Brideshead Revisited" on the brain ;)) I'm sure you're going to be working in a library, but still ...) Enjoy!

I'm sorry, who are you again? How did you get on my flist??

Have a lovely time in Oxford with BH, please hug [livejournal.com profile] cassandre and little Charlie for me if you see them, and please come back online and let us know if you see any pelicans on this trip!! (I figure if you spot a pelican in Oxford, it will be newsworthy indeed. *g*)

:::hugs::: Have a great summer!

Oh, pffft, I read all of your posts -- from both journals! :)

But I fear replying sometimes, because what if my complete job unhappiness rubs up too hard against your complete job unhappiness? We could start sending off dangerous sparks from the mutual hating friction and then BOOM!! Little bits o' combusted AoK and K2 would rain down on our respective offices.

It wouldn't be pretty. Plus, we'd both be blown to bits. And while death by combustion would mean we would be free from our horrible jobs, we'd also be, ya know, dead. *g*

You are all too logical. But maybe our offices would also catch on fire. I recently fantasized about that, actually. I am in a bad, bad place. :) As long as I don't actually bring matches to work...

And have fun in Oxford! If you ever feel the need to visit the continent, take a RyanAir plane and meet me-- I'll find a way to pick you up and show you around. & :-)

I just friended you a little while ago, and you haven't bored me yet! I added you to my flist because I found a discussion you were having about the Aeneid and Virgil, and I was fascinated.
I keep my LJ as a place to talk about what's happening in my life, and to expose myself to interesting people like you. Not so much interested in trying to entertain the masses.
Hope you have a wonderful, stimulating summer. Ahh, Oxford. I remember visiting Oxford and being somewhat awed by it. The pubs were nice too!

I have my paranoid days when I post several messages in a row without replies. Then I write something that people have something to say about, and I tell myself to stop being so silly.

Of course, if I posted more often, the silent times would be shorter. :-)

I hope that you have a great summer with the B.H. in Oxford and elsewhere!

if you need to get my attention, leave a note here.

This just came through on RATales yesterday:

Hey guys,

Surprisingly we've had 2 new members join in the past few days
(welcome, devotees of the rat-tabulous Alex) and I was wondering if it
were possible to update the YahooGroups information on the YahooGroups
homepage, where it describes what our list is about. I know Kelly Keil
and Vanzetti are ListMoms, but according to the members list Kelly's e-
mail is bouncing. Vanzetti, you still out there? I wouldn't mind
volunteering to help Mod, at least to update the YahooGroups info.

Somebody write me.

Adieu
RhymePhile

Just an FYI.
