Jun. 15th, 2007 12:43 pmI looked out the bedroom window this morning, and there was a little fox, just hanging out in the tall grass at the bottom of the garden, enjoying the sun. I suppose this is the upside of how overgrown everything is: the foxes feel safe enough to come out and play in the mid-morning. I'd seen a sort of reddish thing a few days back and wondered if it was a fox, but it was mostly hidden by the grass so I wasn't sure. But it looks like it's making itself at home down there.

My website reorganization and redesign is uploaded now; it is without doubt the plainest thing ever, but it seems manageable to me, and that's what matters at this point. (Front page is here). The links seem to work, and the pages don't look too awful in Firefox and IE7 (note to self -- download netscape and try it then), but the reorganization means that if anyone linked to some story of mine on the older version of the site, that link probably doesn't work any more.

It's funny: I don't mind rereading my fic, but rereading my thesis is like pulling teeth. It's so disorganized and pointless! I just found another 20-odd pages which won't fit into the plan for the book, but will make a nice article someday.
