most important news ever!

Well, maybe not really. But! I've seen the fox pretty much every day, recently, except that when I looked out the window this morning there were TWO FOXES! which are even as I type this sitting together and snuggling and grooming each other! It is the cutest thing ever! it implies that there could be baby foxes out there somewhere!

...In other words, enough with the bitching and on to the fic! rez_lo and I are putting together a Women of Supernatural Fanfic Challenge at spn_xx. We're inviting stories featuring:

• Female characters from the Supernatural television series or the related Origins comics


• Original female character(s) in an SPN setting


• Crossovers featuring female characters from SPN in the setting of another source text


• Crossovers featuring female characters from another source text in an SPN setting

We'll be collecting story prompts until June 24. Go here for further information and here to submit prompts. Stories will be due August 15th.

And while I have my pimp hat on, cidercupcakes has posted a BtVS/SPN crossover, which is mostly about Bufft and John, but also has time travel and awkward moments (!) and wee Sam and Dean. I liked it because it's a crossover with something to say about the characters. The story is Which Today Is; I liked it a lot.
