current writing problems
May. 27th, 2007 01:21 pmTell me, friends list, is deciding that your HL/SPN story needs another action scene and that the easiest way to provide one is to have some random evil Immortal turn up to attack Duncan acceptable, or totally cliched? Or maybe both? I need to get things moving more quickly, and I've already used up one SPN-related plotline.
My
family_secret fic is officially dead in the water. I have the opening of one story, and an idea for a different story, and neither of these will be done by the ever-approaching deadline. Argh! So much for my ability to write stories which aren't crossovers, these days. I'll finish the first of these two, though, and preferably by the end of the summer. Just not by June 1st.
...And to be honest, the crossovers all feel like they have a higher priority in my brain, despite the lack of deadlines. I mean, I still need to finish Blessings! and I finally started the sex scene in another story, which means that may actually be able to be sent out to betas someday!
Let us not speak of my work-related writing commitments.
And now it's summer, the weekend before I leave for England, where apparently it's English summer, which is not quite the same thing. Grr.
