We just watched four S1 Farscape episodes in a row. I think S1 Farscape eps can largely be separated into two categories: "Aeryn gets hurt" and "Someone messes with John's mind." I maintain that the show has a slow start, but by the time you hit these eps (DNA Mad Scientist and the following) it's on a roll.

Because of my obsessive attention to laundry (just ask Rez) I keep wondering where John gets all his new clothes from. Did he pack a suitcase on his module? And what about Aeryn? Some of her new clothes are stolen from John, but what about the rest of them?

In more personal news, my parents have successfully faked their own deaths and run away to Mexico. OK, so they didn't fake their own deaths, but that's just because dead people aren't entitled to Medicare. They have arrived safe and sound in End of the Road, Mexico, and are settling into the house right on the beach. Lucky them. I expect them to return to the US for the summer.

you know, the clothing thing has always, always, always bothered me. and while i think it's cool that at the beginning of each season, the costumes got rehashed and updated (d'argo really needed it, in my opinion) it still make my accuracy geiger go off the charts. for a show that is usually paranoid about continuity, it was a strange in-your-face kind of thing to do.

*shrug* I just always assumed that John had more clothes made at the first commerce planet they got to-- handed over a shirt and pants and said "make me stuff that looks like these." And then they started picking up leftover PK gear from wherever...

Hee hee hee! Laundry! I'm going to be useless whenever anyone mentions the word from here on out.

I can see that I'm going to have to buy the FS DVDs. I've never seen the show. *sigh*

Psst. Your local Blockbuster should have (or have access to) all of S1 and S2.

Your parents are in Mexico? How very cool. I'm still somewhat recovering from the first time I called home after my brother moved out for college and my parents weren't there. What do you mean my parents are "out having fun"?!

As for John's clothing, yeah, I try not to think too hard about it. You haven't gotten to S2 yet, have you? Part of your question is answered in Vitas Mortis.
