You know, I should just stay away from boards; I'm far too easily irritated by other people in fandom. But I was browsing some Alias spoilers, and one of the shippy posters referred to Lauren Reed (the new Mrs. Vaughn) as Fowley 2.0.

I knew I was going to like this character. Now it's official. I haven't even seen a picture of her, and I already adore her.

The only thing I have against Mrs Vaughn is that she's played by Melissa George, whom I have detested since I was 12. I can't really say what she's like now, but she was once renowned as the worst actress in Australia.

I don't really mind people disliking the actress or the character--it's just the "we hatesss her, preciousss, she's ruining our precioussss ssship" thing that I have an uncontrollable urge to mock.
