It occurs to me that my garden would be perfect for
aceofkittens. It's inhabited by snails, frogs and the neighborhood cats, and there's plenty of room at the bottom to grow potatoes in.
In other news, I found a used copy of McKillip's The Cygnet and the Firebird the other day; this is one of those cases where I far prefer the sequel to the original, so I was very pleased.
And now, as we still have sunshine, I might go enjoy it a little.

Had a heck a time finding a used copy of it too, but bought The Cygnet and the Firebird as a brand spanking new hardback. I've fallen behind on what McKillip's written the last couple of years. Wish she'd write something else like Fool's Run.
