a loss

I just saw, in pauraque's journal, the very sad news that rozarka today succumbed to her cancer. It's an indescribable loss. I've known her since XF fandom, and she was such a wonderful, generous, sympathetic person as well as a talented author.

I don't really know what else to say: may her memory be for a blessing. But right now it just feels like ash in my mouth.
