Wow, this is an incredible piece of writing. It's so layered -- you've got John and Dean hunting alone without Sam, Dean drifting away too. You've got Alex/Marita. Marita/John, and a bit of Alex/Marita/John. Plus a creepy, quiet ghost story.
Love this, and now I can add another XF/SPN crossover to my bookmarks.
