Yuletide word count: 269, and nothing has actually happened yet. OMGWTFPOLABEAR!!!

That sound you hear is in fact me panicking.

Word count for the next section of Blessings Against Thunder: 2072. Plenty has happened. Why are action scenes so damn hard? And why does this section need another scene and a half -- at least -- before it's going to be done?

History papers marked today: zero. I have found something I cannot use to procrastinate on Yuletide -- go me!

Tomorrow night I head back to Oxford for the holidays. I'll probably update a lot tomorrow, instead of packing.

(I was hoping the small thing I sent would arrive before you left but my luck with this sort of thing has been absolutely foul. It doesn't matter because it's really mostly a thought and not a thing, but wanted you to know it will be waiting for you when you return. I sent it UPS.)

Hm. I hope UPS will actually deliver it; usually my mail is slow because the Canadian post is slow, so I don't know what the excuse is with UPS. But it's not your luck -- it's Canada. Honestly. I mean, I lived in Chicago for many years and I think the mail delivery here is slow.

Alas. My clothes are now spread all over my bed, waiting to be jammed into a suitcase of some kind.
