Back in time for SPN! Yay!

So my parents spent a certain amount of today watching Firefly, and they still like it very much. This makes me extremely happy. But my dad produced a long complaint about the flashback scene where Simon's father basically leaves him hanging and cuts him off, and how he can't understand how any parent could do that. And it was so, so very hard for me to keep myself from saying, "Yes, that's why Simon wishes that John Winchester was his father."

Although I would assume that, at least in the Blessings verse, that it's Dean and John butting heads, and that's far more...noise, than actual heart-ripping.

Because John is a complete pain in the ass. At pretty much all times. Thwacking with a spoon is the least of it.
