Sydney's mom could definitely take Aeryn's mom, especially if she conned Sydney's dad into helping.
Sauron wouldn't be cowed by John and Aeryn, though. He'd likely try to recruit them, which would be his downfall. The next thing you know, he'd be wandering around inside of Moya, his baleful eye roving everywhere for snacks while he incorporeally made snide remarks and did the high five with the chip-scorpy inside John's head.
