Because I really should be working on my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide fic, or writing syllabuses and exams... I will do a DVD commentary on any of my stories. I didn't do this meme the first time it came around, but I've seen it making a reappearance and would be willing to give it a try.

In other news, I've started to watch "Full Metal Alchemist," and find it quite engaging -- I've only seen the first four episodes, so far. I've been reading a few graphic novels, and mean to write about them once I have something interesting to say (which may never happen). I watched the whole first season of Deadwood last month. I very much wish I had a fannish interest in SG:A, because there's clearly a lot of good stuff being written there, but I can't bring myself to pay enough attention. I have a very strong desire to rewatch all of Babylon 5, once I'm done with FMA.

As [livejournal.com profile] leadensky requested, a DVD-style commentary on Resting Place, the story I wrote for Multiverse 2005. Is this the place to note that I often skip DVD commentary tracks, or listen for about ten minutes and then realize that I'd rather watch the episode itself? But I love talking about my own writing, so here we go.

In honor of my still not having gone to see GoF, here's a commentary on Call and Response, which is a missing scene from the novel. Viktor/Hermione. [livejournal.com profile] kristenk2 asked for this.

Oh, and to clarify what I wrote before -- I don't care for film commentaries, because the actors etc. are talking over the dialogue; in a commentary on a piece of fanfic, I can read the story and the commentary together, which I love, because I like to read what other people have to say about the choices they've made as they write.

And finally, for [livejournal.com profile] bardsmaid, commentary on "Porch Light," which has Mulder and Krycek in it. Of all my XF stories, I'm proudest of this one.
