Paper Watch: The Update
Oct. 22nd, 2003 01:40 pmDiscussion of the different expectations of historians and classicists with my husband (a historian--it's like having a built in test audience) has yielded a few extra pages of background information. I feel moderately more in-control of the situation, although as usual putting words on the page is painful in the extreme.
Six single-spaced pages and I'm only just starting the argument itself. And all that without even mentioning any number of thorny issues about the history of exile or about the war between Caesar and Pompey.
