TV countdown
Sep. 28th, 2003 10:50 amLess than twelve hours to go. I wish I were back on the East Coast, just for this evening.
The B.H. may be starting to like Alias, at least a little; I'm not sure what it is about Season 2 that he prefers. I've told him that tonight we can mock Sydney and Vaughn, no one else. I think that's fair.
I very nearly burst out laughing in the frozen-foods aisle because of Shaye's brilliant Farscape overview over at the
crack_van. But then I was distracted by the thought that what one really needs for the Alias premiere is ice cream. Coffee ice-cream. Someone is messing with my brain, because I don't really like coffee ice-cream.
Meanwhile, we've been making our way through the Homicide season one and two DVDs. Still the best show ever, and we haven't even gotten to Three Men and Adena yet. The writing. The acting. The camera-work, which seemed so revolutionary when I saw it the first time. The faded colors. And the characters: Kay! Frank! Munch! Gee! and all the rest. I love them all.
