(no subject)

There was a longish period during which aceofkittens and I communicated only in lines from Dorothy Dunnett novels, which may explain why the idea of making up Dunnett-related quizzes had us laughing so hard. We started with "Which Dunnett character are you?" but that got rather sprawling, so we turned to "Which novel in the Lymond Chronicles are you?" Sample questions included:

Your life is so complicated that you've decided to kill yourself. How do you do it?
A) Drugs
B) Booze, sex and drugs
C) A piece of glass you happened to find on the street, by the Customs House
D) Lack of sleep
E) Annoying the people around you until they do it for you.

Somehow, though, we got from there to "Which of Francis' doomed loves are you?" which I think would be excellent.
