I finally had enough free time to go to a store today, so I bought the Alias S2 DVDs. Goodness, but they are pretty. I was especially struck, this time around, by the scene in which Arvin has Emily's (empty) coffin dug up, in the black of the night, rain pouring down around him. Beautiful scene, beautifully played.
I think
suelac has inspired me to make a set of Dunnett-themed icons, but that will take a certain amount of planning. One needs quotations and bases. Hers are all Farscape. I might use Alias bases but fear that it will seem... I don't know. Not quite right.
Time to go watch more Alias.

Date: 2003-12-15 06:37 pm (UTC)Ah, the Dunnett Casting Game! Fun for the whole family.
As for my "not quite right" comment, I think it's because, despite all the time I spend thinking about it I still think of Alias as eye candy. And yet I can see so many cool and twisty similarities, that I just need to step back.
