Quick Alias question, as I don't have the S2 DVDs yet. What happened to Emily's body? Did Jack and Sydney hold some kind of funeral for her?

Well, we saw Emily's first funeral ... and the episode that followed Emily's shooting showed Sydney and Dixon waiting while her coffin was unloaded from a plane and into a hearse while they had a deep, angst-filled little chat. Nothing else I can remember, so I assume the CIA had her body interred in the dug-up grave site. Probably held a small, tasteful ceremony under tight surveillance, in case Sloane made an appearance. Maybe Syd pulled out the eulogy she wrote the last time and used it again. Dixon and Jack, maybe Vaughn would have shown.

Thanks. A second funeral won't work so well for the scene I'm imagining, but so long as we never saw one, I think I can make it work.

I honestly don't think they mention it explicitly except for the opening scene of the episode following her death, Endgame (2x19)...the body had been flown home from Italy, but we only see Syd & Dix with the casket. Others may have a better memory than I do, but I think that's it.

all i can remember is that somebody, in an angstfilled tone, says, "i spoke at your funeral!" to the very much alive emily. dix, maybe? or maybe this memory isn't even from alias. *thonks self on head*
