It occurs to me that the last time I did this, I sent my story to the wrong person. Oh well.
Here's what I propose for the "Secret Sarkfic Santa Project." Comments or criticism would be welcome, because I have no idea what I'm doing.
Do I need to tell people to alert me if there's something they can't handle or can I assume that the kind of people likely to write a Sark-centered challenge consider flexibility a virtue?
Let me know what you think, and please publicize this. I know that I'm not the center of the Sarkfan universe, but I'd like as many people as possible to see this.

The Secret Sarkfic Santa project is going to happen! You can sign up until 11 PM Pacific time Sunday, December 7th, and assignments will go out on Monday December 8th.
To sign up, send me an email (vanzetti @ populli.net) with two pairing (or central character) options and up to three other elements or requests (something to get the writer thinking). Slash, het and gen are all fine, as far as I'm concerned. Fluff, angst, romance, whatever. Sark is required.
On Monday December 8th I will send out your assignments by 6 pm Pacific time. At that point, it's up to you: write a story of about 500 to 1000 words (longer if the spirit moves you) to suit the desires of the person you've been assigned. Finish it by December 23rd and email it back to me; I'll forward it to the person it belongs to. After that, you're free to post it in your blog/livejournal or submit it to lists or boards.
Have fun!
