From the soundbytes I've heard, it sounds like she's using her own accent -- which would be an English-influenced version of TV-Australian. (Which is basically an educated Australian accent, with slower speech and more careful enunciation than the average Australian bothers with.) It sounds quite English to begin with, and I believe MG spent several years in England as well.
But I've seen her in other US productions, and her accent was flawlessly American there. So I'm going to assume that her accent here was a deliberate choice.
