Even I remember how hard the end of Harpist in the Wind hit you. I'm not sure you should reread them, either. (But who knows--I've never ended up sobbing over Dogsbody like I did a few weeks ago.) I think The Changeling Sea is my second-favorite of her books--it's the one that makes me happy when I read it, and she wrote it during her all-too-brief "clear" phase. You get the beauty of her language without all the obscurity.
