Yay! I find it compulsively watchable, even though I haven't always liked the things the showrunners do -- but at least they move things along.
I would be glad for a less dark season, frankly! Last season, things just kept getting worse and worse for everyone. Or at least, for characters I care about -- I guess it wasn't too bad for Ramsey Bolton, but literally everyone else was having a terrible time. So less horror all around would be great. I would especially like to see good things come of Brienne finding Sansa.
I always had the sense that Melisandre was more powerful than Thoros, at least in the books -- but that may be in part because of the way the two of them are introduced. I assume that she knows how to bring Jon back, but I'm guessing it will not be easy.
