vaznetti: (sarah has a big gun)

Spoilers for the last two episodes under the cut.

In the future, my son will lead mankind in the war against Skynet... if he can get his hair out of his eyes. Damn you, [livejournal.com profile] musesfool! Damn you! You have corrupted me!

So the theme of trust and betrayal was laid on pretty thick here, hunh? But it worked: since there's nothing to decide between Cameron and Derek, except by their actions. Either one could turn on John and Sarah, and there's no way of telling what is more predictable, programming or blood.

I really like the way John and Cameron form a kind of unit -- the way they conceal information from Sarah and Derek, together -- even as they disagree and misunderstand each other. And I also like the way Sarah and Derek don't form a unit.

I could watch Sarah Connor beat men up all day long, I think. But I kind of had to cover my eyes during the impromptu brain surgery. Sorry: peeling back the scalp is not my thing.

OMG! the second hour! How great was that! Derek! And Derek and John! And Kyle! And OK, I guess I like Derek now, having not really thought that much of him before these two episodes. I loved the way the plot (or rather, the plots) all built to a series of conclusions.

And oh, Ellison. The filming of the attack, from the pool up. That was amazing.

I meant to have more intelligent comments, but then I started flailing. And now I am going to sleep.

And finally, Cameron! I mean, I know that being blown up in the car is not going to stop her, but it will burn away a lot of her skin and all that, and will be awkward. (How much did I love the exchange by the car, with John's friend? But Cameron will need her skin to go to the prom.)
