oh, helllllooooooo. I just found this, and, oh, your John. Actually, your everyone, but John especially. I think he fits so well with the crew of Serenity because he's just like them. The things they fight wear different faces, but what John says, several parts back: he's fought for decades, he doesn't know how to live without that war...that's just John. I'd babble on about the Serenity crew, too, because they're just spot on as well, but there's good FF fic out there, and not so much good John, so I'll focus my flailing there. Very much looking forward to more!
