File under: the best laid plans

Yesterday was dry: we planted lots and lots of lettuce, and also three small tomato plants. Today, we had an hour of pea-sized hail.

In other news, I was poking about online and came across an organization apparently dedicated to the real-life practice of Roman religion -- they collect dues from their members, and their CFO has taken the name Lucius Cornelius Sulla. I guess everyone pays on time over there!
