Mar. 21st, 2008 04:34 pmI remain deathly ill. Well, not deathly ill exactly, but this is a nasty cough. So I am spending the day on the sofa, drinking tea and trying not to actually hack up a lung; BH and I are watching most of S2 of Dexter, as well. I am not doing any of the writing -- or the work -- that I should be.
Naturally, there was no question of going to shul last night, especially given the pouring rain we had. But Happy Purim! And [insert-appropriate-epithet] Good Friday. The one thing about having the Established Church is that I do get the day off, and frankly, I really needed it.
I see rumors around that Jericho will not be renewed. Honestly, this shocks me not at all; the show is on occasion far too daring for network tv. I'm more than a little sorry -- it's one of those great shows no one watches -- and a little worried about how they'll tie anything up in the one episode remaining. But I'm really grateful that we had this last third of a season: the episodes have been excellent.
As you can see, I'm not boycotting LJ today. Perhaps I should post a poll, as well?
