Yuletide Assignments Out

Woot! I got my assignment! And I'm really excited! Yay!

I really, really hope that the person who got my requests feels the same. So here we go:

Dear Yuletide Santa,

Like it says above, I hope that, now that you've seen my requests, you aren't cursing the day you signed up for this whole thing. I'm really easy to please -- I like het, slash (m/m or f/f) and gen. If there's plot, that makes me happy. If there's porn, I like that too. I don't really have OTPs (OK, I should make the Northern Exposure Joel/Maggie exception, because I imprinted on that as an adolescent, and I just can't help it) so go ahead and play around with pairings, or don't use any pairings at all.

Some of the characters I expressed an interest in are... a little dark. Don't feel that you have to clean them up for me. My feeling is that these people generally feel that they have reasons for the horrible things they do, but I don't think that necessarily justifies anything.

I chose the four requests I made because, in each case, I have an abiding love for the source and the characters. I hope that there's something there that you like too.

Rome 1x11 (Spoils?)

Because you can't be spoiled for history... You know what's weird? Caesar did set aside land in Italy for his legions. It was a whole big thing. At least, I'm pretty sure he had land reserved for them back in 48, so it seems unlikely that he wouldn't have been able to hold onto that in 44.

As for me, I'm looking forward to the Lupercalia. And I'm not sure this icon is relevant any longer.
