Comment with any ship from a fandom that you know I like, or at least have some knowledge about. I will ramble for 100 words about aforementioned ship. This may be incoherent gushing or exclamations of disgust, depending on what it is.
Anything I talk about here is fair game: Alias, XF, Firefly, Farscape, Deadwood, BSG, Angel, Buffy. Also Dunnett, ancient history, classical literature. Try me--if I have no idea what you're talking about, I'll let you know.
*I think I saw a nature program that proved that the whole lemmings-rushing-wildly-over-a-cliff-to-their-deaths idea is a myth. So very saddened, but I suppose it's better for the lemmings.
Also, this morning the local CBC1 devoted their regular morning news slot to a Q&A program about birdwatching and birds in the Maritimes. Sometimes I suspect that I'm just not temperamentally suited to life in Canada.
