The B.H. reports that NY-LON was not crap--he says that it did an entertaining job skewering the usual mid-Atlantic misunderstandings on both sides. Plus, it has Kurt from Teachers in another "best friend" role--and the next time I do my "British dramas in decline" shtick, someone should remind me about Teachers, which was hysterical and could never, ever have been made for a US market, broadcast or cable. The sensibility is so totally alien.

In other news, I am grumpy because today is my anniversary. Boo. We are never together on our anniversary. We should never have chosen the end of August for our wedding.

I keep seeing references to this "gmail" thing. This is something that happened while I wasn't paying attention--what is it, and why do people want it?

I need new icons. I need to decide what kind of new icons I need.

Also, I'm supposed to be writing a chapter for a collection of essays. Amuse me.
