transatlantic television
Aug. 25th, 2004 10:18 amThe B.H. reports that NY-LON was not crap--he says that it did an entertaining job skewering the usual mid-Atlantic misunderstandings on both sides. Plus, it has Kurt from Teachers in another "best friend" role--and the next time I do my "British dramas in decline" shtick, someone should remind me about Teachers, which was hysterical and could never, ever have been made for a US market, broadcast or cable. The sensibility is so totally alien.
In other news, I am grumpy because today is my anniversary. Boo. We are never together on our anniversary. We should never have chosen the end of August for our wedding.
