A quick fiction recommendation, in the unlikely event that anyone missed this story.

Good fiction about Jack isn't all that common, but Yahtzee's The Thought that Counts isn't good fiction. It's excellent. Her Jack characterization is perfect.

The author's summary reads, Jack makes it through his first Christmas without Sydney, despite the imperfection of gifts, both received and given.

Last night, about halfway through 24, the B.H. turned to me and said, "You know, if this was the other Jack, he could just take Salazar to one of his warehouses and fix them both up."
