Jul. 2nd, 2003 09:05 pmIt is such a relief to have that long Alias story out of my hair. Even though I won't post it to lists or Cover Me until I get back (because I don't want to piss off potential feedbackers by not responding for three weeks), I can file it away as done.
Now I have to figure out what to work on while I'm away: there's a blank notebook to fill. The first few scenes of the sequel to Articled to Error are set in Rome, so that ought to get some play. For a while, I thought I wouldn't write it, but of course there's Jacob/Scully to consider:
spican's birthday is closer than I think. I've been meaning to write a fic entitled The Contents of a Dovecote for years now, and have decided that it may do for a post-hiatus Sarkney: "It did not occur to him, because he was in some ways inexperienced, that are some things -- the contents of a dovecote, for instance -- which cannot be sold. For as the soul to the body, the birds will find their way back to their master." At any rate, a Sark fic of some kind. A follow-up to Airs, Waters, Places is not beyond the bounds of possibility, because after all, there's always Jack. I'm a little afraid to write Jack/Irina, but I suppose the relationship must be faced someday. I have an awful urge to write a series Sark/Allison vignettes set around the post Phase One episodes, but first I'd have to have the eps on tape, so that's out for the moment.
Neither the B.H. nor I got around to buying books, so we're scrounging the house for potential slow re-reads. And of course I have sworn to do Greek grammar review, too. You might not want to take bets on the success of that strategy.
