6 degrees of randomness

First of all, the B. H. and I saw 25th Hour yesterday. It was two excellent movies--a tour de force performance by Edward Norton and a love poem to New York by Spike Lee--rolled into one very good whole. Probably less than the sum of its parts but still excellent and I urge everyone to see it. Especially if you've ever watched Edward Norton act and thought "wow, he's really good," because however good you thought he was then he's ten times better here. At least I think so. Also, if you happen to find Spike Lee annoying, don't worry, because in this one he's just wearing his "Spike Lee--great director" hat, rather than his "Spike Lee--let me pontificate in an annoying fashion" hat.

Second, I would like to do the LotR meme that's going around but it has too many questions and I am lazy. So let me say that aceofkittens would be Arwen, because she's doing all kind of amazing stuff that isn't in the books. kristenk2 would be Sam, because she's under this bizarre illusion that she isn't the hero of the story. muridae_x as Aragorn, I think. chriswife as Eowyn, because she's capable of holding everything together no matter the circumstances, but you just know that if given the opportunity she'd be out there kicking ass. And lizbee and twinkledru as Pippin and Merry, or maybe Merry and Pippin. Because they're young and talented and are going on to great things.

And yes, I know that isn't everyone, but like I said, I'm lazy. Also, Strider kicks everyone's ass.
