Sep. 17th, 2002 06:53 pmI feel obliged to write something, if only because lately it's been so rare for me to have computer access in the evening. Although I've taken the first step towards trying to do something about that by blowing about half my research budget on a laptop. Whee! At least, whee! so long as I remember that it isn't really my money.
But I can't think of anything else of great interest. I realized over the weekend that it has been weeks since I've written any fic, but I'm still not feeling much inspiration. A few lines of dialogue here and there, but nothing to support them. But then, that's how I write--first a scene comes to me, and then I have to figure out the story it belongs to--so maybe a few lines of dialogue are all I need to get me going.
Maybe I'll give that a try.
