Books, books, books
Aug. 17th, 2002 01:38 pmNow I know why no bookstore in Oxford has a copy of Alan Furst's new book--the publication date has been put back to September 12th. I can wait, I think. In fact, this might be good; I'll be living in New York then and the chances of seeing F. reading must be higher there than here.
( Why everyone should read Alan Furst )
I consoled myself for the lack of Furst with the new Neil Gaiman, Coraline. Gaiman is still just this side of terrifying, and I think it comes down to his problems with narrative. Because he has the mood down pat.
