You are all among the many things for which I am thankful.

After much mental back-and-forth, I decided to make pie tonight. It is in the oven. I just went to check on it, figuring that it should be nearly done; I had somehow managed to turn the oven off, instead of turning it on. ::facepalm:: At least I managed to fix that. Eventually.

In other, non-holiday-related news, I updated my website yesterday: seven pieces close enough to stories to be added to the site. For me, that's fairly productive, although some of them are basically comment-fic.

Enquiring minds want to know: if the oven was already off, how did you turn it off instead of on? 'Tis a puzzlement! (What kind of pie?)

Well, I put the pie in right after taking my dinner out; I thought I had changed the temperature from 350 to 400. In fact I had turned it from 350 to 0. (You know, that instinctive thing where you turn off the oven automatically? I think that was it.)

(Pecan and maple! I may have to bring it in to work tomorrow, though, to keep from eating the whole thing myself over the weekend!)
