hey! we made it to Wednesday!

...And you know what that means, right? It means that tomorrow is Thursday! Yay!

You do all realize that tomorrow night, we'll all be saying "Is it September yet? How about now?"

So in honor of Wednesday, and my half-written paper, a meme, seen most recently apud [livejournal.com profile] eretria:

If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write?

[eta from vic] I'm not actually going to write any of these (unless something strikes me), but I am curious.

I would have you write fic for The Scar (http://www.amazon.com/Scar-China-Mieville/dp/0345444388). I think you could do it justice. And not only that but I wouldn't even care what pairing or plot it was, that's how much I know already that I would like it.

*happy dreaming sigh*

Haha, that's from the animated Robin Hood movie. Sir Hiss!

If you were to really write fic for the Scar, my head would explode. So be careful!!

I'd love to see an SPN/Shawn of the Dead/Black Books crossover. Sam could be looking for old books in the shop when the Zombipocalypse strikes.

Ah, well, Dylan Moran, who plays David in Shawn of the Dead, plays Bernard Black in Black Books. Bernard Black is a misanthropic miserable bastard who drinks and smokes pretty much all the time. He runs a second hand books shop because he likes to read, which he can do while drinking and smoking. He doesn't like to sell the books, though, and is exceedingly rude to customers who actually want to buy something. He lives in the back of the shop, and the kitchen is indescribably filthy. It is very funny in a dark and strange and British way.

::grins at you:: Leaving aside that you're already writing something I *really* want to see, I really would love to see John Winchester run into Alex Krycek. ::eyes that:: If, that is, you can do it without leaving one of 'em dead...

Can I assume that when Duncan comes back to life, tied to the chair, he'll be able to cope with the situation?

Hey, this is the man who's dealt with Amanda, Fitz, Cory, *and* Walter Graham. He'll do fine. Really. ::grins:: Might deck John later, though. {{hugs}} Yell if I can help in any way!

(As to John and Alex running into each other, I am looking forward to that only slightly less eagerly than you to you writing any kind of Riddlemaster fic...)
rhi: Connor in the shadows, because you're never paranoid enough. (Connor paranoid)

That would be perfect timing. I'll be done beading for the crafts fair by then and wanting a change of pace. ::curious:: Does everyone deck John?

::nodding:: Gotta say, in Dean's place... I would. (Did you read the 'teenage Goth/Wiccan wanna-be's accidentally resurrect John' fic? It was hilariously funny.)

You know Sam's scholarship? It was actually to Hogwarts...

John, by the way, is the first Muggle ever to practice wizardry (that we know of).

How much would I love either of these, written by you? Kind of a lot.

(I've been thinking more about the Ziva-John idea, btw. Wow. What happens when "never the twain shall meet" actually do meet? The whole son/brother-as-enemy thing. Yikes.)

Uh...I'd love an SPN/La femme Nikita crossover. Let the Winchesters be in Section (I bet they'd tear it apart). Also...hmmm. SPN and Anita Blake souns fun.
