what time is it?


So Jack has family? A father and a brother? And of course they're evil -- have we learned nothing from our experiences with Kim Bauer? -- and Jack's sister-in-law has the hots for him, because Jack is irresistible.

And Chloe may have to kill her, just on general principles.

I realize that there's an a-plot (the usual terrorists OMG! in league with the military-industrial complex) but who cares? this show is total crack.

Also -- the actor playing Jack's brother looks really familiar -- like I've seen him on this show. But surely I haven't, right?

You *have* seen Jack's brother on 24. He was the mysterious guy guiding President Logan last season, the one they never explained.

Plus, he's Paul McCrane and he's in freakin' everything. He was Dr. Romano, Asshole Surgeon, on ER; he was the sensitive red-haired gay student in the movie Fame. He's EVERYWHERE.

GOOD CRACK! But yes, 24 and logic are not mixy things. And about sixteen hours into the season things generally go completely over the top and just stay there until the end.

This season so far is crazy, even by this series' standards.

OMG! How could I have forgotten Rocket Romano and his one true love with the helicopter! I feel like such an idiot now.

I think he is the little guy who was really running the evil dudes last season, wasn't he? The one we always saw talking in the car, or in that panopticon-sort of place, who wanted to get rid of Jack because he kept getting in the way?

And that kid is totally Jack's.

Total crack. And I thought the same thing about the son -- totally Jack's.

This show is so unreal, yet so addicting. I really don't understand why I continue to watch!!

It's completely addictive, I think because it's so ridiculous. It's like very violent candy.
