This will have to happen in that FF/BSG crossover I wrote a couple years ago for Multiverse. I may have to write a real story about this.

Sadly, it just doesn't seem to be making it as a scene -- I have trouble with Kara. I imagine something just after Exodus, with Inara on Galactica because somehow she was separated from Serenity during the evacuation. It would be interesting because Kara is in the process of finding herself again, but Inara has already had to forge so many new identities for herself. I imagine her trying to organize the refugees, actually -- I think it's the sort of thing she'd try to do, because a lot of being a Companion seems to involve looking after people, not just having sex with them -- and her coming into contact with Kara that way. But as for what would happen there, I'm drawing a blank. I don't think Kara needs the kind of healing Inara has to offer.
