*cracks up* I didn't see that before I posted... great minds. Okay, Methos and Francis Crawford (which yes I just misspelled above, even though I know he's male and was reading the books last week and have no excuse. I blame the massive sugar crash).

So this won't be one my secret cracked out AUs where Adam Blacklock is a Methos identity? No, actually, it will be, because that whole idea cracks me up to no end. And it works surprisingly well -- there are a few scenes I have to kind of rewrite in my head where basically Methos is remembering the difference between himself and what he knows, and Adam and what Adam knows. And how all he's really trying to do is get himself into reasonably good shape after some kind of traumatic event -- long term burial or maybe having a leg grow back or something -- but he ends up in the maestrom that is Francis Crawford's life.

I have actually spent far, far too much time thinking about this.
