quick spn question

OK, I have this whole post, but first, a quick question. My understanding was that Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be in more than one episode this season. Am I wrong about that? Because I, um, I really need to know.

I mean, I knew that this would come eventually. I just didn't think it would come now.

According to spoilerfix.com, yes, JDM is supposed to be in more than one episode this season, though they don't state how many.

I am actually not convinced that we'll see him again, except as a spirit. I think... I don't know what I think. TV producers say a lot of shit about who's going to be in how many episodes, and I've been burned by that kind of thing before.

*laugh* Quite alright. To be honest, depending on if and how they resurrected him? It might be more of a cop out, lessen the emotional impact and all that. So, I've no idea how I feel about this yet. I'm still... hyper.

The thing is, John was my guy. I'm kind of beat up and worn out by the whole experience. I mean, it's not like "my guy" usually makes it out alive. I just wanted more of him than that.

One thinks of the poor actor, calling up his agent: "Okay, wait, is this another hospital role? Because, just, no. You put me in a hospital, a week later I'm unemployed again."

(The character shouldn't have been able to walk, based on what the car looked like -- but I suppose one can't go clambering about a basement with half your ribcage stove in and your pelvis in bone-flinders.)

Considering he's been in, what, 5 episodes total? And in a lot of those, only for two minutes -- that's a lot of impact.

Yeah. Story of my fannish life, right there. Sometimes the characters make it out or get more screen time, sometimes not so much.
