Here I am!

For some reason, the home internet connection seems to be working. I do not know why, and would like to, so that I can fix it the next time it breaks. Very confusing.

I am so incredibly jet-lagged, and had Gatwick-related travel adventures. Joy.

Also, someday, I will spend my summers somewhere with reliable weather.

And you're kidding about the drought thing, right? No, of course you're not kidding.

I wish I was kidding about the drought. But not according to the letter I got from the water board this morning. I'm hoping that the standpipes are an emergency measure we'll not get to though; it's going to be hard enough adjusting my gardening practices back from hose to watering can.

Although if watering cans get banned as well I can just give up gardening for this year. :-)
