I wish I was kidding about the drought. But not according to the letter I got from the water board this morning. I'm hoping that the standpipes are an emergency measure we'll not get to though; it's going to be hard enough adjusting my gardening practices back from hose to watering can.

Although if watering cans get banned as well I can just give up gardening for this year. :-)
