Of tonight's 24, I have only one thing to say: That's your plan? Wiley Coyote could come up with a better plan!

Seriously. I can't remember when I last saw anyone come up with a plan of that amazing daftness. Outside Farscape, which is all about the Really Stupid Plans.

Bwah!

"Trust me. This plan is so bad, it has to be ours!"

Not having seen 24, I can only guess that the biggest difference is, Farscape is all about Really Stupid Plans That Somehow Manage to Work Out Anyway, Though Not in Ways in Which Anyone Expects.

Could have been worse. I thought for a second that Michelle was going to leave Kim in charge of CTU. *g*

But in Farscape everybody at least turns right round and tells Crichton that the plan's stupid. And then does it anyway. 24's dumb plans are treated with more gravitas than they deserve.

I was okay with Plan A (retrieving Salazar), as Jack has to be the renegade hero every season, so while it wasn't the best plan ever, it still fit in with the show. Plan B (opening the cell blocks) is, I agree, the stupidest plan ever. Though one of my non-lj reading 24 friends suggested that at least now they had an excuse for why Salazar wasn't being released. Maybe he's been around Kim too much and/or the heroin addiction is muddling his ability to reason.

I don't even watch 24 and I'm laughing my face off at this. Thanks for starting my morning with a giggle. :)
