I'm thinking of starting a recs page for Alias fanfic, largely because I'm having trouble finding one that is current, reliable and tailored to my interests. Am I missing something obvious? Does this sound like a reasonable idea? Let me know.

Any recs page is a good thing. More exposure for writers. People that may not find other ones may find yours. So, in short, it's all good!!!

I think that's a great idea. The site Jo linked you too is a good one, but it's not updated all that often and its updates tend to be small.

I'm slowly increasing the number of Alias recs on Bright, Shiny Objects, but I rec for a few other fandoms too, so I can't be all that thorough. It'd be wonderful for us Alias addicts if you helped us wade through the crap. (I've reached the point where if I read one more sappy J/I, V/S, my brain's going to explode.)

Thanks. I think I may go ahead with it, in my copious spare time. Although I doubt I'll be reccing much S/V. I think they're the cutest thing I've ever seen onscreen, but I find that I often lose interest in fanfic about them.

I was thinking more of the degree of the obsession than the value of the thing we might be obsessing over. Alias is very, very fluffy stuff. Shiny, even.

Nah. Still not buying it. If I were Obsessed by my standards, I'd be buying all the B-graders on DVD for captures, not just checking them out on rental and shrugging my shoulders.

Of course...most of those are younger, and he has improved with age...hmm.

But yes, Alias is shiny. When I ever get around to making the CD of goodies I've been planning for each of you I'll have to include the 65MB spoof clip.

Yeah, I've been planning a CD of goodies for you, Rita, and Kristen each for a while now. Just odds and sods off the hard drive and stuff. One of those "when I get my ass into gear" projects.
